  2. Huffman Prairie Flying Field
    This national historic landmark is located at Gate 16-A on Wright-Patterson Air Force
    Base. The 84-acre pasture is where the Wrights undertook the difficult and dangerous
    task of creating a dependable, fully controllable airplane and training themselves to be

  3. Huffman Prairie Flying Field and Interpretive Center
    The Huffman Prairie Interpretive Center is part of the Dayton Aviation Heritage

  10. Greene County Lewis A. Jackson Regional Airport
    This airport is named in honor of a man who impacted countless people through
    his passion for aviation and education. During World War II, Jackson became
    director of training at the Army Air Corps 66th Flight Training Detachment at
    Tuskegee, Alabama. Under Jackson's program, the renowned Tuskegee Airmen
    trained to become the first black pilots in the Army Air Corps. Following the
    war, Jackson earned a Masters and a PhD in higher education. Dr. Jackson held
    many positions in education culminating in the presidency of Central State
    University in Wilberforce, Ohio. A display at the airport tells the story of the
    Tuskegee Airmen and Dr. Jackson. Located west of Xenia on Valley Road.

watch to corn grow as you pedal through the green farmlands of Northwest Ohio. Family
routes of 10 and 15 miles keep riders mostly on a bike trail. Riders on longer routes –
31/62/80/100-- take lightly-traveled rural roads. Those riding 64+ miles will find a few
